Sound familiar?

Finding the right activity should not be this hard

"It's too hard for Mum now"

Ordinary puzzle books are small, busy and quick to frustrate. A hard page can end the afternoon in tears.

"The easy ones look childish"

Cartoons and nursery colours are not respectful for a grown man or woman - and people notice.

"I run out of ideas by Wednesday"

Carers and activity staff are busy. You need something you can print and start in two minutes, every day.

Why Gentle Minds is different

Designed for adults - and for good moments

Real pictures, no cartoons

Clear, realistic pictures and calm layouts that respect a lifetime of experience.

Three levels

Pictures only, easy words, or real puzzles. Abilities change from day to day - just pick today's level.

No wrong answers

Every page is short and finishable. Answers are at the back for the helper - never for marking.

Made for talking

Every page is a doorway to a story, with prompts and 48 conversation cards to share memories.

Three levels in one kit

Start where they are today

Not sure? Start with Level 2. If it feels quick and easy, try Level 3. If there is a long pause or a sigh, try Level 1. Mixing levels is normal.

Caregiver guide

Five short pages: choosing a level, the golden rules, a five-step session, making it easier or harder, and using the kit with a group.

Answers for the helper

At the end of each level - so you can help gently without guessing, and never need to "mark" anything.

Two paper sizes

Complete kit in US Letter and A4, plus each section as its own file - print only what you need.

Who it's for

Made for the people who care

Families at home

Sons, daughters and partners who want a calm, shared activity that feels like time together, not therapy.

Care homes

Activity coordinators who need age-appropriate material for mixed abilities - with a licence for every resident.

Day centres & groups

Read-aloud pages, quizzes and conversation circles work for 4 to 8 people with no paper at all.

Visitors & volunteers

The "About me" page and conversation cards make a visit easier - for both of you.

How it fits into a day

Three ways people use the kit

After breakfast, at home

Fill in the "Today is..." board together, then one Level 2 word search with a cup of tea. Ten minutes, a good start to the day.

Afternoon group, care home

"Finish the saying" read aloud to eight residents, then a conversation card about dance halls - with the music on.

A video call with Dad

Both of you have the same "Look and talk" page printed. You talk about the tractor - and he tells you about the farm.

These are examples of how the kit can be used, not customer reviews. Real reviews from verified buyers are below.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Is this a printed book that is posted to me?
No - it is a digital download (PDF files). You print the pages you want at home or at work, as many times as you need. Nothing is shipped, so you can start today.
Is it suitable for someone with dementia or Alzheimer's?
It is designed for adults living with memory loss and other changes in thinking, including people with a dementia diagnosis, and for older adults who simply prefer big, clear pages. The three levels let you match the activity to the person. It is for enjoyment and engagement; it is not a medical treatment and does not diagnose, treat or slow any condition.
Which level should we start with?
Start with Level 2. If the first page is quick and easy, try Level 3. If it feels hard, try Level 1. Many people use two levels on different days. The caregiver guide explains the signs to look for.
Do I need a colour printer?
No. The pages print well in black and white. Colour pictures are a bonus if you have a colour printer.
What paper size is it?
You get both US Letter (8.5 x 11 in) and A4. Print at 100% / "actual size". To make pages even bigger, print at 120-140% on larger paper.
How do I get my files after paying?
Download buttons appear on the confirmation screen and in the receipt email from Lemon Squeezy, straight away. You can download again any time from My Orders using the email you bought with. More help is on the help page.
Can a care home use the Family edition?
The Family edition is for the people you personally care for. Care homes, day centres and agencies should choose the Care home edition, which lets you copy pages for every resident and client at one location.
Can we use it on a tablet?
Yes - the PDF opens on any tablet, and apps with a pen tool let you draw on the pages. Most people find printed pages easier and more relaxing, though.
What if it is not right for us?
Ask for a refund on the help page within 30 days. It is automatic: refunded in full straight away, with no questions and no explanation. After 30 days refunds are closed, and after a refund you stop using the kit and delete the files.
